Hat Copper-Gold<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Hat is located\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>50 km northwest of Telegraph Creek north-western BC.\u00a0 Situated in the Stikine District that includes the large Galore Creek, Schaft Creek, Red Chris, and Kutcho copper deposits that collectively have 7.65M tonnes copper, 14.9 M oz gold and 148.5 M oz silver in measured and indicated resources.<\/p>\n

Geology<\/h3>\n

Situated within the Stikinia terrane at the western edge of the intermontane physiographic province, proximal to the Coast Crystalline Belt. The \u201cStikinia\u201d which has similar characteristics but is less explored than the \u201cQuesnellia\u201d terrane (a north-trending belt of intermediate volcaniclastic rocks that extends northerly through the length of the province), is host to several active mines and numerous properties that are either awaiting development or re-activation. In both terranes most deposits are closely related to dioritic and granodioritic plutons of Early- to Mid-Jurassic age.<\/p>\n

Property formations are members of the Stuhini Group of island arc-related andesitic to basaltic volcanic rocks and derived clastic sedimentary rocks of Upper Triassic age, and small intrusive bodies of dioritic and gabbroic composition.\u00a0 Structural alignment of both formations and intrusions is north-westerly.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
